GPS-Galileo Meetings Held in Madrid

On June 5-6, the Office of Space Commercialization participated in a series of meetings in Spain to discuss U.S. space/GNSS cooperation with the European Union.

The Office co-chaired a meeting of the GPS-Galileo Working Group “B” on Trade and Civil Applications (WG-B), reported on that group’s progress to the U.S.-EU plenary group on GPS-Galileo cooperation, then attended the U.S.-EU Civil Space Dialogue that discussed GNSS as well as other topics.

It was the second WG-B meeting of 2014, following a meeting in March during the Munich Satellite Navigation Summit. WG-B was established by the 2004 agreement on GPS-Galileo cooperation.
