Thank you for the widely open US GPS policy and giving us an opportunity to make a comment on the future GPS. On behalf of Geodetic Observation Center, I would like to send you the comment. We have a GPS domestic network called GEONET. GEONET consists of more then 1200 sites. Those sites are used as not only geophysical research but also public survey like cadastral survey. GEONET is already one of the basic social infrastructure in Japan. Now we have only 78 sites which can get L2C code. We are planning to replace more 60 receivers which can get L2C code within this fiscal year. We hope to replace more 60 receivers every year after next fiscal year. Of course budget change every fiscal year, so our plan is not so steady. Therefore, Replacement of all the reciever in GEONET may not be complete until the end of 2020. If you could postpone the deadline more several years, it would be very helpful for us.
