NOAA organized this Industry Day to discuss the potential use of commercial space capabilities as means of fulfilling various civil government missions. Officials from NOAA and other agencies presented information about specific missions that must be fulfilled. U.S. companies were encouraged to submit materials describing any commercially available capabilities that could satisfy the government's requirements.
