2nd U.S.-Thai Civil Space Dialogue
On August 21-22, 2019, Office of Space Commerce Director Kevin O’Connell served as head of the U.S. delegation at the second U.S.-Thailand Civil Space Dialogue in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Dialogue brought together government representatives the Ministries of Defense, Foreign Affairs, and Digital Economy and Society; Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation; and Thailand’s space agency, Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA) with U.S. representatives from the Departments of State, Commerce, and Defense as well as the U.S. Geological Survey and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
