Update on Round 2 of NOAA’s Commercial Weather Data Pilot
Based on the results of our industry day discussions and additional market research, NOAA has determined that releasing an RFP in FY 2017 is not in the best interests of the Government or the CWDP.
NOAA will continue engage with emerging commercial data providers and refine data specifications as needed. NOAA anticipates releasing an RFP early third quarter of FY 2018.
