MBDA Announces Grant to Space Foundation
On November 30, 2018, the Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) announced that it had awarded a $400,000 grant to the United States Space Foundation to educate and inspire the minority business community, and directly facilitate an introduction to the field of space commercialization.
The grant was part of a $13 million issuance of MBDA grants to 35 projects across the country, including $1.9 million targeted at future forward industries and initiatives.

The Space Foundation will use the funds to present a series of nationwide workshops with the goal of bringing minority business leaders into the grater space commerce community.
